2009-06-10 - ABB invites you to the launch of the fully integrated, standardised autoloading cell providing the machine tool industry with typical paybacks of 6 months.
Working in partnership with Neuteq in Tamworth and HAAS UK, the cell is designed for easy installation with simple 'plug and play' features. The cell incorporates ABB's IRB 1600 robot fully enclosed and easily transportable between stations, working alongside the HAAS SL Series of CNC machine centres, providing a cell which is affordable whilst offering flexible automation designed with the machine tool industry in mind.
Quick Part Change Over
"Working with our channel partner Neuteq and alongside HAAS one of the leading suppliers of CNC machine centres, we have been able to design a modular cell with pre-engineered solutions designed to handle many different parts with quick set up features enabling the system to be up and running in a matter of minutes," comments Matthew Rollins, ABB Account Manager.
Simple but Effective
The simplicity but innovative concept of the cell is one that will enhance manufacturers productivity, reliability, quality and greatly reduce labour costs and will service the proven technology of the SL range of HAAS CNC machines which are widely known and used in this industry.
Other major suppliers to this industry will also be supporting the day which is to be held at Neuteq's newly refurbished offices in Tamworth, Staffordshire on the 23rd June 2009.
