Meter IT Automated Meter Systems (AMS) Libraries provide ABB controllers with the ability to perform multi-tube flow compensation calculations. MeterIT AMS libraries include Gas Flow Calculations such as AGA 3 gas orifice (1985,92), AGA 7 gas turbines, AGA 8 supercompressability and others. Liquid Flow Calculations include API Liquid Orifice and API Liquid Turbines for various densities.
AGA gas orifice computes the temperature, pressure and composition compensation factors for gas orifice meters to state gas volumes at base conditions according to the AGA 3 standards. AGA 7 computes the compensation factors for gas turbines and gas displacement meters. AGA 8 computes natural gas supercompressability for use in AGA 3, AGA 7 and others.
Meter IT AMS libraries give users the ability to meter their in-plant flows within their DCS/PLC hardware. The multi-stream capability and standardized hardware of this solution minimizes plant training, hardware spares and capital costs.
