The LCB II provides high speed protectionfor long and short lines. It is particularly suitable for lines too short to be protectedbyimpedance measuring systems, such as the run from generator to switchyard. The channel flexibility built into the LCB allows applicationonlines up to 400 kilometers. The LCB is suitable for any system voltage from subtransmission through UHV. The LCB is available loose and unmounted or completely mountedand wired in a panel or cabinet.
